Kei was actually from room 1417, but since she always sneaking into our room to wallop up our food, she is considered one of us already... heehee!

Brats in Penang // 23-27 May

To those who didn’t even try to enroll into BRATS when you had the chance, I don’t know how to describe what you had missed. For one, there were a lot of eligible hotties there...

BRATS Penang 2008! Yay!!!!

Can see onot? You have to strain your eyes real hard, this photo is tad too small... You though all those who were qualified are nerds 24/7 with their nose stuck in books only le~ Haha, let me prove you wrong!! But show you later la, I was not there to drool over hotties... And before I stray off as usual, let me tell you - BRATS was an.amazing.experience.


Initially, I was tinny wenny bit, ok fine, VERY reluctant to join when I realize Jelly was not coming along, but my exam had just ended and I wanted so much to escape reality (read: lousy grades). And boy, sure glad I did went along...and I have no regrets!! Hey wait, scratch that, I do have regrets... I didn’t come home sunburned as I’d hope. So much for my tan. Heck, I think I’ve gotten fairer instead!! And we are supposed to be in Penang!! Where is the beach, the sun and cute lifeguards Penang’s famous food?? But nooo, our duty is to loll around in the hotel and stuff ourselves silly most of the time... 4 days is too short I say! Extend it extend it!!


Haih, I’ve absolutely no reason to criticize. All I paid was RM 120 and we were treated like VIPs - stayed in a luxurious hotel with scrumptious cheese cakes for breakie, ice-creams for lunch and caramel jellies for dinner. In the room, each toilet got hairdryer and three huge mirrors with different angle to go with it!!

See see!!

Haven’t counted the mirrors in the bedroom that reflect our shinny hair le? All in all got five, FIVE superb gigantic mirrors!!! Talking about escaping reality~ especially when you have not enough sleep like me... I most certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with low self-esteem. You can imagine them going nuts with all the mirrors around and flinging themselves out of 14th floor. Thinking about it, this would be a great story! That is what journalists are trained for, right? Huhu, and we are right at the scene somemore!! Tomorrow highlights: “bla bla bla”, by Joye... By Joye you know, your friend.


Okay okay, syok sendiri-ness must die


Anyways, the main purpose to Penang wasn’t about the hotel, nor the food (='(), rather it was the experience I would gain. Thanks to BRATS, my photo skill had improved loads..! Now I’m just waiting for the chance to prove it..hehe.. And oh, I don’t mean those camwhore poser pictures we normally take I still can't look like a supermodel, double ='(, but what I meant was more of those magic moments, that split second when the pictures truly says a thousand words. I’m getting better at that, except the only problem is...the c2pid battery!!!! It had to die at the exact wrong moment!! Throughout the camp I had to charge it, like, three times!! And the screen is too kecik!!!!! My eyes not exactly that big, you know... And it takes far too long to turn on! By that time the magical moment also pass already la, huh-yuh, takkan wait for you meh... I want a new camera!!

Blek... I’ve probably have to wait for another year or two. I guess I have to make the best of what I have, for now. (Ahahaha, I'm so gonna pester dad...) I manage to catch some fantabulous pix with this lao ya camera... Lemme show off!!

What make us really peeve was they didn't even bother to inform us. And there we were waiting waiting like some big headed morons...

Basically everyone was just bored la...

Dad is not the one to stand tardiness, so he asked for refund.

Nevertheless, he still wanted to arrive in style~



No tickets!!! Yeesshh, what is wrong with this country? Competing with MAS giving free flights somemore.. You call this competing r?

But in the KTM counter, I saw something that touches me a lot...

An old Indian man wanted to go to Ipoh, but I think he didn't know how to read the ticket, thus he didn't know what time his train is coming. And he was freaking himself out...



...so he implore this malay guy for help... And the young man not only help him out reading the ticket...

...he also directed him to the station and help the old man carry his stuff. So wei dai!! I fell in love with him on the spot!! If he looked back, I would have send him a flying kiss. Unfortunately, he did not... Why am I not attracting the good guys?

I've been robbed!!!!!!!

TODAY! In board daylight somemore!!!!!! Can you believe it? And what irk me the most was, I wasn't even distracted!! I was looking around, looking for stuff to take photos. And this two jokers on a motorbike approached me. At first I thought they wanted directions. But turn out, they wanted to rob me instead. And all the thing they can snatch, they have to targeted my first and only REAL bling bling from mom..!

*shaking fists*

Dumb thieves, can't you see it was the only jewellery I was wearing? Why don't you rob a super rich stuck-up miser dripping with diamonds instead of a poor teenage girl who get this necklace only after much persuasion from her mom? boo-hoo~ Hey, It's not funny ok, I am seriously sad right now you know... Ironically, mom and friends were always nagging me to be careful of my necklace. Sigh, why are they always right? But fortunately, my jade wasn't stolen. If it got stolen, I tell you... x.x... When it drop on the road, I was like staring at it dazedly like an dim-witted idiot... Wow, I was thinking, it refuse to part from me. Coincidence?

Oh well, I think I'm gonna put aside jewelleries for the moment until my neck and emotions heal.

Aikidoker to save the day!!

Yesterday Gasing dojo had a blood donation drive. Since it was Wesak Day and I was relatively free, so I thought why not do a good deed and sun bin save some lives. Nothing beats saving people during your free time you know... So happily I got there, chat with old friends and harassed some people to take pictures while waiting for my turn to register...

Ahakz!! I pestered the hell out of a super reluctant Hoei Hoei~

..O.o.. I've never seen sensei in shorts before~

...when out of the blue a nurse told Ms Lim and me that they needed more blood, so we were not qualified because we are underweight... Miss Lim, understandable la being so skinny and all...but me??? Underweight? Like this also can be underweight ka?

A hulking 47 kg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yo, sister, you trying to make me happy only izzit? I went through the trouble to fatten myself gau gau, and yet I'm still underweight?? Then we realised they actually wanted people with minimum 50 kg~ Oh...

But here you stated you want at least 45 kg!!!!!!!!

Sister, next time when you want change the rules, tell us at least a day beforehand, ok?

Now believe me onot?? There are always obstacles whenever I want to save the world. And the worst was...those lovely chocolates!! Wasted you know, wasted. Wuuu~ I could have eaten them leisurely and enjoy every bit of it... But now...!! All come out aldy ar, you know that onot?!?

Luckily there's pat pat's cakies to comfort us...

Delish~!! Actually Sensei invited Ms Lim and me to makan all to achieve the ideal weight... I would have dunnit wan geh, if the donors all weren't aikido experts.

Yummy chocolate donuts!!!! Or rather, it used to look like this yummy before Ms Lim destroyed the decor by dipping the clingwraps on the donuts. Um, I did help out destroying it a bit la~heh heh.... But can't blame us~ How are we suppose to know that the wraps can't hold on to aluminium foil? It's called clingwraps for goodness sake!! It is supposed to be able to cling! What kind of bogus cheaplak clingwrap is this? Soot that company gau gau!!

Apart from those cakies, there are also quite a number of yummilicious people around here...

Haha!! ...sensei!!!! Not exactly what I would call yummilicious. Ultra funny and sporting yes la~ I was practically laughing my head off when I took this. And sensei was like, freezing there with that wacky expression until I calm down... think I gonna need anti-shake for my camera...

But jokes aside, donating blood is really a good cause. Global statistic had shown that Malaysia has one of the highest number of road accident occurring each day. Much blood is needed to save these people. So please donate and save a life.

Guess must thank people like me for raising the statistics. I took this...when I'm driving? I know I know... Please don't attempt what I'd attempted...

..but I have never seen a Thai Buddist Temple before!! Whao by some miricle I didn't rear-end the car in front of me.

Okeh okeh, enough about me... Oh by the way, Form 6 council is gonna have a blood donation drive in school somewhere around, erm, this year. Date not confirm yet, but whoever is interested can tell me and I'll update you about it, okies? =)

Hot hot HOT!!! No no, I’m not talking about me... I’m talking about the weather!! Dxrn much heat wave attacking me~ in bed sleeping also can wake up sweating like just did a 100 mile marathon... With the fan on at full blast somemore... =.=’....... If wasn’t because I was fully dressed, I could have sworn I’d fallen asleep in a sauna. Sign of global warming?? ...O.o... Perhaps it’s time for us to do our part by planting more trees and turning veggie. Yup~I’m a huge supporter of animal rights. Animals are so cute, what have they done to deserve being digested by your stomach, huh? Besides, being a veggie is cool!! I mean...
