“Anything can happen when you live in the moment, one step at the time. But to find that out, you have to be willing to take that one step.”
Ah me, these days I seem to be everywhere except home. Away from KL too long till I don’t feel belonged anymore. But I love travelling too much!! I love seeing new things, meeting new people, taking loads and loads of pictures!! Till I have to upload them, that’s it... Bugger blogger, the world so advance already still upload like snail like that... Ish... And yea well, I suppose I also did promise Bensen I will post up memories of Pangkor Laut on his behalf...
Only one tinny wenny problem: I ter-left my handphone cable in my hostel... oops...
So so sorry ben ben... Call me careless, call me blur...
Can I postpone it?? again?
So, raves about Pangkor Laut take another rain check. Boredom sets in as no one is free for me to annoy. And sms-es to Sharon went unreplied till wee hours in the morning...
...with a “Sayang...gd nite” .
Sweat that woman, I am not sure leaving her in Penang is such a good idea after all...
But I HAD to leave. Fast. Xin Yan’s mom and dad was treating us two (me and Sharon, the only two non-Penangnites) like royalties, entertaining us from day till night. I literally had to worm my way back, as they were constantly trying to guilt trip me till the last moment in the bus... Hey, a girl gotta know her limit, you know... (and I need to fit back into my jeans too)... There was also Syeqa’s open house and morning service~ It is great to be able to spend time with the people you truly care about, and I had been away too long...
Of course, to those I had dumped in Penang when I ran back to KL, I miss you guys too!! But since we will be together for 4 years and we see each other virtually every moment, that ‘I really really miss you!’ part can come later, I guess... Haha!!
Clockwise from right: Me, Xin Yan (Island host), Xi Huan (Mainland host) and Sharon the Sarawakian.
As you can see, UTeM have Penang folks from all around the place. Something about Penang being famous for electronic stuff, if not mistaken. But how is technical being related to food is what I can’t see. The quantity of the most sinful yet appetizing food found here I tell you..!! *pengsan*
Think yourself too thin? Having no appetite??? The perfect solution is...visit Penang!
*Note: This is not applicable to Penang folks.*
Night pasar malam...
The stress-ness of scoffing down humouguos sausages on full stomach...
Current addiction: Mario Forever!!
FoOd...
...more food!!
The reason our mouth can't stop chewing...
Haha!! Kidding... Xin Yan's very youthful parents join us in every outing~ And we enjoyed every moment!! =D
So much yummy food!! In so little time!! And now you understand why am I still struggling to reduce to 44kg........
But still, I can't end this post without leaving this out..!!
Uncle belanja-ed us this on the way to grandparents house..
Ikan bilis+asam powder+generous topping of kacang tanah+secret rojak paste recipe=
Tad bit expensive at RM5 as the cheapest, but it's worth it travelling all the way to Penang for this wei..!!
But enough is enough. One gotta love and hate Penang at the same time... Till the next Penang Bridge Marathon on 22nd November, I shall leave Penang and exercise some self-control...
Tee hee, wonder if Sharon is still recognisable or not when she come back... Maybe she have to roll back instead... XD
